Aware Recovery Care (ARC) offers a holistic approach to treatment and changes the way clients receive care throughout the country. ARC is a year-long, home based, addiction treatment program that works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assist clients in their first year of recovery.

Position Summary:
The Agency Alumni Liaison works with the Alumni department, care teams, and Agency leadership to ensure a smooth transition into the Alumni Community for discharging clients. The position is accountable for connecting clients with Alumni services, and representing the Alumni department in their respective regions. This position requires a thorough understanding of Aware Recovery Care’s treatment philosophy, culture, and values. Knowledge of substance abuse and dual diagnosis is essential. A liaison embodies the passion and sustainment of long-term recovery.

Position Highlights:
  • This is a part time role with an hourly salary rate of $23-$27 per hour
  • 10-20 hours per week
  • This is a hybrid position out of our Indianapolis, IN office

Job Responsibilities:
● Represents Alumni Services Department in their assigned Region
● Attends Agency regional & departmental meetings in their Region
● Updates their region on Alumni announcements
● Communicates and collaborates with agency leadership and care teams to ensure clients have a smooth transition into the Alumni Community upon discharge.
● Proficient in the operation of CRM and EMR software
● Reviews and documents reports from the EMR and Salesforce.
● Verifying discharged client information in EMR is updated in the Post-discharge trackers & engagement Salesforce dashboard.
● Ability to utilize Microsoft tools, and review data sets
● Explains Alumni Community to clients and ensures clients comprehend Alumni Community eligibility and guidelines.
● Coordinates with agency direct care roles to transition clients to early access options and Sets up client introduction to the Alumni Community.
● Collaborate with the Business Development, Marketing, and Admissions departments to increase engagement and attendance with Alumni hosted events, meetings, and platforms.
● Learns all program options available to a client
● In conjunction with the Alumni Department, spearhead, plan and execute in-person and virtual alumni events throughout the year
● Hosts weekly virtual meetings with Alumni and clients eligible for peer groups.
● Distributes Alumni materials (Coins, swag, brochures, flyers)
● Completes weekly routine tasks (welcome alumni, post on media platforms, execute standard follow-up calls & surveys, and Documents all Alumni interactions).
● Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/ Qualifications:
  • Has at least 6 months of experience in a client-facing role. 
  • 2 years of lived experience in continuous recovery from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones preferred 
  • Lives in the Region of their assigned Alumni Community Agency
