POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for administering and scoring Intake Assessments for prospective and incoming Aware Recovery Care (ARC) Clients. Intake Coordinators will work in the admissions department and collaborate with the appropriate clinical leadership to ensure assessments have been completed and clients are properly set up to enter the program.
**This role is 100% Remote but candidate must reside in one of the following states: CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MA, NH, OH, RI, VA, NJ, NY, AR, MN, PA, TX***
**This is a part-time role with an hourly salary rate of $28-$40 per hour based on experience and licensure**
**Candidate must be a licensed RN/LPN in one of the following compact states NH/ME/FL/OH/IN/VA/GA/KY**

Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister initial assessment with ASAM scoring according to Aware protocols
Determine level of care needs based on the ASAM placement criteria
Depending on licensure and training, complete additional assessments and screenings including CIWA, COWS, CSSRS, and safety screenings
Assessing and determining appropriate recommendations to support clients within the IHAT program as well as the virtual MAT/Ambulatory Detox programs.
Providing clinical support to Admissions for conditional admission placements
After completing initial assessments, notifying the appropriate clinical leadership to ensure proper final review and signature
Alignment with admission/company goals and initiatives
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:LCSW/LICSW, LSW, LMFT, LPC/LMHC or RN/LPN- most preferable is RN with RN compact licensure or RN living in an RN compact state
One year of professional clinical social work experience or at least one year of professional nursing experience within the past three years
Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Mental Health preferred
License be in good standing
Bilingual preferred
Strong assessment skills and holistic health knowledge regarding addiction
Knowledge of and experience utilizing the ASAM dimensions and ASAM placement criteria
Exemplary motivational interviewing and deep listening skills
Strong interpersonal and group communication skills
Ability to collaborate
Clinical excellence and excellent internal and external customer service skills
Resolution-focused with the ability to think critically and creatively
Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
Hand hygiene (Staff member washes hands properly, following ARC and CDC standards)
Review Infection Control Policy and Demonstrate Competency
Review Emergency Operations Policy

Complete Drugs of Abuse module (screening for intoxication and withdrawal symptoms)
Complete Ethics module
Complete Treatment Planning module
